A World Apart: The Outback Of Australia

A World Apart: The Outback Of Australia

Journey to one of the world's most barren and beautiful regions, Australia's Outback.
This extensive films tours through what is one of the most inhospital regions on our planet. The film includes an Aboriginal Mission village, the town of Alice Springs and Ayers Rock. The film also tours the famous School Of The Air which teaches remote students some of whom are hundreds of kilometres away. The film also examines Aboriginal Art, views the unique geographic landforms and wildlife of this locale including wild camels, which at one time were used to bring supplies to Alice Springs and now run wild throughout the outback. A very entertaining film. Language may prove somewhat juvenile to adults but the content is of interest for children and adults.
