An excellent blending of music,
narrative and historic recreations has captured the warmth of Canadian pioneer
Christmas in this excellent video. While designed for Grades 4-8,
children of all ages will enjoy this program. Students view the Canadian
holiday traditions of the early 1800's in Canada. Everything from
trimming the tree and Yule logs to Christmas pudding and homemade presents are
brought back to life through live historic recreations shot at a number of
